Latest versions of PyMca can be directly downloaded from its sourceforge download page.New releases are announced at a public mailing list to which you can subscribe.
The new versions of the program are faster and have more features. Nevertheless, windows users with unmounted network drives may find the interface of the latest version somewhat slower. If they do not need any of new features, they can download the old 3.9.4 version directly from the ESRF. Both versions can be installed on the same machine and share the same configuration files.
